Penguins 6, Maple Leafs 2

Missed this one. Had to catch the highlights.

The Pens avoided a trap tonight and used three goals in 48 seconds early in the third period to blow the game wide open.

It was a tight game for the first 20 minutes, and the Pens needed Conklin playing well to keep it that way. He made a few great saves that kept the deficit at 1-0 going into the second.

Malkin exploded tonight for his first career hat trick, and Jarkko Ruutu was the #3 star with two assists and a fight to his credit.

Here are the highlights for you to check it out yourself. If you're reading via RSS, you'll need to click through to the site to see them.

Next up: Kitty Cat invasion of Pittsburgh on Saturday, as the Panthers visit the Igloo and the Jaguars go to Heinz Field.

I just have to mention Ruutu's fight. If you've not seen it, go check it out on youtube. It was probably the best fight I've seen a Penguin have in a long time. GO PENS!

It was one of the best fights of the season, toe to toe battle with the slight edge to Ruutu and thats coming from a Leafs fan.
