Game #51 - at Atlanta Thrashers

Pittsburgh Penguins (28-18-4, 60 pts) at Atlanta Thrashers (23-25-4, 50 pts)

I'm too lazy for pictures for this one.

The wheels are just about off of the wagon for the Thrashers. They've lost five in a row going into the All Star weekend. This is the first game after the weekend break. They're sitting with just 50 points. They're only four points out of the 8th spot, but almost all of the teams ahead of them have games in hand. They have to get their act together and do it right now.

Fortunately for the Thrashers, the Pens have struggled in Atlanta since the lockout ended. They have only a single win in Atlanta in the last five games.

Unfortunately for the Thrashers, the Pens are coming off of a great road win in New Jersey and have shown some ability to spread the scoring without Sidney Crosby. Maybe now Kovalchuk will have to point at himself without Sid in the lineup.

Let's Go Pens!
