Sorry to be a little off-topic, but since you used the hockey card, I just have to point it out:
I have that same UD 2007-08 Crosby checklist card, and I noticed something odd - namely, that Crosby appears to be wearing a 'C' on that card, despite wearing last year's uniform, and the pictures looking like they were taken from the game against the Stars - several months before Crosby was named Captain.
Is it common for hockey cards to get photoshopped?
freeptop - You're right, of course. I'd say photoshop efforts on sports cards are pretty common, and have been for a while. You see it more on baseball cards when a player was traded or signed late in the off-season. I can say I've never seen it just to add a C... and he doesn't have it on his regular card, but I think that's because of the angle...
