Penguins (24-10-2, 50 points) at Senators (15-17-4, 34 points)
Why does it matter?
First game back after the Christmas break... and the Sens have been a competitive team lately. The Pens cannot afford to rest on their laurels.
What has been happening lately?

First game back after the Christmas break... and the Sens have been a competitive team lately. The Pens cannot afford to rest on their laurels.
What has been happening lately?
- Pens - A great two points earned over the Caps made for a nice Christmas for the flightless birds.
- Senators - The Sens have earned points in five of their past six games.
- Can the Pens get their game going after a big emotional high of a win in Washington?
- Will Asham play since they've sent Jeffrey back down to Wilkes-Barre?
- Can Sid keep the point streak going?
- Be ready for anything. The last time these two teams met, they combined for 84 shots with the Sens firing 21 shots in the first period alone.
- Standard advice when playing the Sens - ignore Ruutu and Neil.
- Keep the Sid and Geno show going. I'd like to see Geno eliminate some of the bad passes... but he's certainly contributing on the offensive end.
