Yeah - on the road and missed the game entirely.
Now I can't watch again until they lose :)
Someone just tell me - was Ovechkin's hit on Gonchar dirty?
Tomorrow night is HUGE. With a win, the Pens are in the driver's seat.
Do the Caps go back to Theodore, or stick with the youngster who looked a bit shot?

I dunno - they showed it about 16 times on the Comcast broadcast here in the DC Metro area... and half the time it looked wrong & on purpose; the other half it didn't. Hard to tell even after that many reviews.
I *will* say that this game revealed a whole lot of other Ovechkin cheap shots before/after plays -- much more than I've seen through the rest of the series.
This incident did look a little dirty at first glance.. but I couldn't really determine intent from what I saw. If Gonchar is seriously injured I guarantee this would result in a suspension for a lesser star than Ovie.
Somebody posted it to YouTube - this angle... it looks intentional.

(OK I promise I'm done for the night!)
I don't know, when I saw it in real time I thought it was dirty, and, it being Ovechkin, really wanted it to be so I could rail on him... but looking at the replays, it really really did NOT look dirty. It looked like Gonchar was trying to avoid the hit and just got clipped in the process.
