According to the Post-Gazette and Russian news sources, Malkin suffered a rather mild shoulder dislocation. He'll be examined next week.
Wouldn't surprise me to see him on opening night... I sure hope so - I have tickets to the game!!

Tickets for opening night, nice. The Pens are playing San Jose this year so I'll finally get a chance to see them again.
Well looks like he won't need surgery but may be out 4-6 weeks...

Looks like the kid is going to miss 9-10 games at least. This will make a calder run a bit more difficult. Perhaps this will create an opening for Staal?
