It's not so much that the division winners shouldn't be rewarded, but that the #6 seed is being rewarded too, by playing a worse team.

#6 Rangers (94 pts) get #3 Atlanta (97 pts), while
#4 Ottawa (105 pts) and #5 Pittsburgh (105 pts) get each other

Same thing out west, but the point differences are less pronounced. I'm no trainer, but he really needs some upper-body strength if he expects to excel at this level... he's 6'3 but 192 lbs leaves a lot more muscle to be desired...

Otherwise, this is only one game, I still have faith - Fleury will also bounce back as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16951517.post-17004264973523365132007-04-12T09:48:00.000-04:002007-04-12T09:48:00.000-04:00I think (hope) they'll have learned something from...I think (hope) they'll have learned something from last night and be ready for the speed and physicalityPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07752234031680462232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16951517.post-70257706792780394302007-04-12T08:40:00.000-04:002007-04-12T08:40:00.000-04:00At least the kids got that first game out of the w...At least the kids got that first game out of the way. But you have to give Ottawa credit, they came out and pushed them around. It made me realize how most of these young guys were just not ready for the pace and physicality of playoff hockey. I don't think they'll be so wide eyed on Sat. I'm sure they'll learn a lot from this game and be ready to go.

Tough loss, but it was nice just to see them in the playoff's again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
